Works great on JB03 Honda Monkey 5 speed, but... no engine temperature
Installation was pretty straight forward, just followed the Youtube video by Opmid for the 4 speed Monkey. The JB03 Monkdey 125 has a different temperature sensor so the connectors for this on the Opmid harness was not used. The most annoying part of the harness install was connecting the clutch switch signal wire to the starter relay. To make it easy I removed the battery and battery box/tray to get access to the starter relay.I used the following figures to configure the gear ratio on the Opmid multimeter:5.2 - 1st gear: 2.8465.3 - 2nd gear: 1.777 5.4 - 3rd gear: 1.315 5.5 - 4th gear: 1.034 5.6 - 5th gear: 0.8435.7 - 6th gear: noneThis worked a charm, every gear up and down while riding, the gear indicator showed the correct gear. Sometimes it gets confused when your revs are low and you change gears. The display is great, bright, easy to read in any light condition. I also purchased the matte non-reflective protective film and it helped with reducing glare. I am very happy with this Opmid multimeter, it's head and shoulders better than the stock one. Now to the "but"... no engine temperature. I'm still working out which option to take.
